About Conflict Updates
Conflict Updates is a geopolitical intelligence service that publishes structured, cross-source verified reports on armed conflicts, diplomatic crises, and high-signal geopolitical events. Every report is researched against primary wire sources — Reuters, AP, AFP, Al Jazeera, BBC — and rated for confidence before publication.
What we publish
We cover active conflicts and their direct consequences: military operations, ceasefires, sanctions, displacement, energy disruption, and diplomatic escalation. We do not publish opinion, analysis unrooted in sourced facts, or prediction.
How reports are produced
Each report begins with a geopolitical trigger — a GDELT signal or monitored RSS feed indicating a significant event. An AI research system then searches for wire reports, official statements, and specialist outlet coverage, fetches full source text, and synthesises a structured article. Every claim is classified as Confirmed, Contested, or Unverified based on source independence. A confidence score (0–95) reflects how many genuinely independent sources corroborate the core claim.
